Floor Staff

Employment Type: Part-time, Seasonal
Compensation: $18.25–$20.25 per hour

About the Role
Floor Staff are the heart of Archie’s. You’ll run games, help guests, host parties, and create a fun, safe environment for people of all ages. This role is ideal for high school and university students looking for flexible, engaging work.No experience required. Full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests at the welcome desk.Support with arcade token purchases and prize redemption.Facilitate mini-putt equipment rentals and returns.Lead bazooka ball briefing/vesting rooms.Support birthday parties and group events with positive customer service.Maintain overall cleanliness and safety within Archie’s.Work as part of a positive, and inclusive team.Bonus points: if you have experience / want experience with social media.

Qualifications
Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working with the public.
Willing to learn and take direction.
Available evenings, weekends, or school holidays.

Administrative Assistant

Employment Type: Part-Time
Compensation: $21 - $23 / hour

About the Role
The Administrative Assistant is a key part of the Archie’s team, responsible for both administrative and operational support. This role combines financial management, office administration, and team support.You’ll work closely with leadership, staff, and vendors to ensure payroll, invoicing, and operational processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with BC Employment Standards.

Key Responsibilities
Book and coordinate events, from birthday parties to corporate bookingsCoordinate and manage the relationship with social media consultants. Answer and manage incoming emails and calls from customers, community organizations and partners.Process accurate payroll using QuickBooks for full-time and part-time staffMaintain employee records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with BC lawEnsure correct vacation pay, statutory entitlements, and deductionsManage vendor invoices and payments Support onboarding, training, and employee documentationAssist leadership with ad hoc operational and administrative tasksEnsure all processes comply with BC Employment Standards and privacy regulations

What You Bring?
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, or office administration
- Deep understanding of QuickBooks is a must
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Proactive, with high attention to detail and accuracyExperience in hospitality, retail, or small business operations is a plus
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
